DIY Moringa Body Scrub

August 31, 2018

Body scrubs are a great way to keep your skin looking fresh and rejuvinated.

Polish your skin with this antioxidant rich Moringa body scrub that will keep you glowing and provide you with a more restful night sleep.

Say goodbye to dry and dull skin. This salt based scrub will buff away old skin to brighten and soften your whole body.

Moringa, rich in antioxidants, will help with blemishes and keep your skin looking youthful.

Epsom salts, rich in magnesium, will reduce inflammation. It also contains beneficial minerals, which soak into the skin, and sulfates, which help flush out toxins. It is known to ease stress, relax the body, relieve pain and stop muscle cramps. Your muscles will feel relieved, ready to fall asleep and recover.

Exfoliation

Gently rubbing this salt scrub on tired skin removes dead skin cells and paves the way for new cells to regenerate. This process, known as exfoliation, brings new light to dull and tired skin. Dead skin cells lie on the surface and harden with age, so the longer they stay there the harder and thicker they will get until properly removed. These layers of dead skin cells can make the skin look dry and flaky; exfoliation with a moringa salt scrub reveals the moist, bright skin hidden underneath.

Scrubbing with salt also helps to remove bacteria from the skin and unclog pores. Salt has antiseptic qualities, and when applied to the skin it may help kill bacteria and reduce inflammation along with any itching or pain correlated with bacterial-related skin disease.

Circulation

The abrasive action associated with salt scrubs invigorates the skin and encourages a natural flow of circulation, which gives skin a natural and radiant glow.

Regeneration

Exfoliating with a salt scrub encourages regeneration. By shedding your dead skin cells, it actually promotes the growth of healthy new cells. This regeneration process tightens the skin, giving it a firmer and younger-looking appearance. Skin regeneration also reduces skin discoloration, evening out skin tone and improving texture.

The best time to exfoliate is at the end of summer and beginning of fall when your tan starts to fade and you skin is ready to shed a layer of dead skin.

This unique DIY combination will help your body to detoxify effectively and naturally.

Unlike most conventional store-bought scrubs, this recipe is non-toxic. It only uses natural ingredients and comes together in less than 5 minutes.
