In need of a refreshing spring treat that's healthy yet satisfying? Try these Moringa Nana Pops. It's a great snack for yourself or your kids. And its super easy to create. All you need are some bananas, Moringa, honey, coconut butter and coconut oil.
First peel the bananas and then cut them in half. Then insert a lollipop or popsicle stick. Place them in the freezer overnight or long enough to solidify.
Next create the Moringa dipping-sauce.
For the dipping sauce you need 1/4 cup coconut oil, 1 tbsp coconut butter, 1 tbsp Moringa powder and 2 tbsp honey.
Let them cool for about a minute before double dipping. Repeat 3-4 times.
Freeze and enjoy! Feel free to garnish with coconut cream. I just mixed some coconut creak with honey and Moringa powder and then sprinkled coconut flakes on top.
Freeze bananas overnight.
Heat the coconut oil, coconut butter, Moringa powder and honey over low heat until is all melted and blended together.
Place the Moringa pipping sauce in a shot glass (or similar) and dip the frozen bananas into it. Repeat 3-4 times until they are well coated. You will need to wait at least 30 seconds between dippings and possible refreeze.
Enjoy! Place the remainder of the finished pops in the freezer for storing.
Optional: mix the Moringa powder with the coconut cream. Then drizzle the mixture on top and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
