Store bought almond milk has less than 2% nut content. When you make your own you can add as much almonds (or other nut) as you like and leave out all the nasty fillers!
After blending the almonds the mylk should be white and foamy at the top.
Add he cinnamon, moringa, salt, dates and vanilla extract.
Finally if you want to add some extra nutrients for a fun color pop add a small handful of spinach.
The color should look similar to below.
You can either drink it immediately or strain it through cheese cloth to get a silky texture. Straining the almond milk allows it to last longer in the fridge. However you shouldn't store it more than a few days anyway.
My absolute favorite cheesecloth is Ellie's Nut Milk Bag which you can find on Amazon. Because it comes in the form of a bag it's super easy to us by yourself.
Pour the Moringa mylk through the cheesecloth into a bowl. It will come out looking like this.
For storage place into an airtight glass jar and store in the fridge for a few days.
Pour into shooters or over ice and enjoy!
Place water and almonds in blender and blend for 15 seconds.
Add remaining ingredients except spinach and blend again for another 15 seconds.
Then add the spinach and blend on high for 10 seconds.
Strain through a cheesecloth and serve chilled or over ice.
