Marbled Moringa Fudge

Indulge guilt-free with these marbled moringa fudge treats! They are completely vegan and coconut based yummies. 

 

 

First you need to get some raw coconut butter. It's essentially the same thing as coconut oil but processed differently to keep the texture more firm at room temperature. 

 

 

Place the coconut butter in a small saucepan and melt over medium heat. 

 

 

Add the coconut milk and coconut oil and stir over low heat until fully mixed. 

 

 

Combine the honey and vanilla extract over low heat. 

 

 

Finally add the moringa powder and mix well. 

 

 

Below is how the mixture should look once all the ingredients have been added. The melted mixture is quite dark but it lightens once the fudge firms. 

 

 

Place the mixture in an 8x8 pan. Make sure to line the pan with parchment paper or spray it in coconut oil (hint: the parchment paper works WAY better). To create a marbling effect, pour some coconut milk on to and use a toothpick to spread it around. 

 

 

Voila! 

 

 

Let it sit at room temperature for a few hours. You can also put it in the fridge for an hour but its best to keep it at room temperature. As you can see below, the color changes quite drastically. 

 

 

Cut into squares and enjoy :)

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

  • Coconut butter (1 cup)

  • Coconut milk (1/3 cup from a can)

  • Coconut oil (3 tbsp)

  • Moringa powder (2 tbsp)

  • Vanilla extract (2 tsp)

  • Honey (1/2 cup)

 

Directions

 

  1. Melt the coconut butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the coconut milk and coconut oil over low heat. Add the moringa, vanilla and honey until its mixed thoroughly.

  2. Pour into a parchment paper lined 8x8 pan and let sit for a few hours.

  3. Cut into small squares and enjoy!
